Join us at the 2025 CARSP\/ICTCT<\/a> road safety conference, co-hosted with Parachute<\/a>, where industry leaders, government officials, engineers, public health professionals, researchers, road safety advocates and law enforcement officials will gather to explore innovative solutions to today\u2019s most pressing road safety challenges. This event promises to be a great opportunity for learning the latest in road safety best practices and research, while providing its delegates with networking opportunities in the beautiful city of Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n

A key focus of this year\u2019s conference is on the intricate relationship between technology and road safety. This conference invites road safety professionals and advocates to engage in vital discussions on how technology can both mitigate and exacerbate the risks of serious injury and death on our roads. We will examine the dual impact of technological advancements on key issues such as cyclist safety and pedestrian safety, micromobility, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), vehicle design and predictive collision analytics and automation, infrastructure, and on harmful behaviours like impaired driving, distracted driving, speeding, and other forms of risky driving. While our focus this year is on technology, we also want to discuss other important and relevant topics within the road safety discipline.<\/p>\n

By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and sharing best practices through the lens of the Safe System Approach, attendees will learn how to leverage innovation to protect all road users and improve overall mobility. The conference content will include a combination of plenary, panel, and practitioner\/researcher presentation sessions. These sessions will draw on research and evaluation studies, as well as policy and program practice.<\/p>\n

There are also Student Paper and Student Poster Competitions, and events aimed at students and young professionals, as well as a Networking and Awards Banquet and other networking opportunities.<\/p>\n

Call for Abstracts<\/h3>\n

Furthermore, in this year\u2019s Call for Abstracts, authors will be asked to relate their abstract to the conference theme, \"Innovative Interventions and Technologies for Safer Roads: A Global Perspective\". While the theme helps guide the focus of some components of the conference, there are still many presentations on a number of road safety topics, including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n
