Road safety is a significant priority in Manitoba as evidenced by the fact that it is one of three provinces and territories to have formally adopted Vision Zero. The timing of the conference was ideal as it coincided with Manitoba\u2019s development of a new Road Safety Section.\u00a0 Part of the work of this Section is to create a road safety action plan. The various presentations, tours, and networking opportunities offered at the conference supported this important work.
