This role involves electrical and electronic design, diagnostics, installation, and maintenance of traffic infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient roadway operations.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"693\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"165gfiz\" data-start=\"695\" data-end=\"723\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"723\">Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"1315\">\n<li data-section-id=\"xxf2dx\" data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"836\">Respond to scheduled and emergency repairs for traffic signal systems and intelligent transportation systems<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"8lrw5\" data-start=\"837\" data-end=\"892\">Inspect and implement work zone safety requirements<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"uw5r9k\" data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"953\">Perform testing and bench repair of electronic circuitry<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"11fomgi\" data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1038\">Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade centralized traffic control systems<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"51x3iq\" data-start=\"1039\" data-end=\"1119\">Plan and organize materials, equipment, and work orders for daily operations<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"l37cfl\" data-start=\"1120\" data-end=\"1231\">Install and construct traffic control devices, including poles, signal heads, wiring, and detection systems<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"7k203q\" data-start=\"1232\" data-end=\"1315\">Maintain compliance with regulatory, engineering, and quality control standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1317\" data-end=\"1320\" \/>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"15diiqs\" data-start=\"1322\" data-end=\"1344\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"1326\" data-end=\"1344\">Qualifications<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1345\" data-end=\"1918\">\n<li data-section-id=\"9rrb7m\" data-start=\"1345\" data-end=\"1478\">Three-year diploma in Electrical\/Electronic Engineering Technology <strong data-start=\"1414\" data-end=\"1420\">or<\/strong> Ontario Certificate of Qualification (309A Electrician)<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"n0407a\" data-start=\"1479\" data-end=\"1528\">IMSA Traffic Signal Level 1 &amp;
