ITS, Traffic Design &amp; Construction, and Traffic Safety &amp; Data Management.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Supervisor or Project Engineer, the successful applicant will support transportation infrastructure programs through traffic engineering, operations, design, data collection, safety reviews, signal systems support, and coordination with internal and external partners.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Generating engineering designs for traffic control devices and related infrastructure; conducting site investigations; supporting centralized traffic signal control systems; assisting with tenders and quotes; planning traffic data collection programs; performing traffic safety reviews; and preparing technical documents and correspondence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A three-year post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Transportation Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a related field; registration or eligibility for registration with O.A.C.E.T.T.; two years of related experience; proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office, traffic\/GIS software; knowledge of traffic signals, road safety programs, Ontario Traffic Manual, Highway Traffic Act, and related standards;
