Avec l'aide de la cam\u00e9ra vid\u00e9o thermique, la m\u00e9thodologie d'analyse bas\u00e9e sur la vid\u00e9o automatis\u00e9e peut \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9e dans l'\u00e9valuation de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des pi\u00e9tons dans la nuit en utilisant des mesures de substitution (techniques de conflit et des mesures de vitesse). Une \u00e9tude de cas a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en utilisant des donn\u00e9es recueillies \u00e0 partir de deux emplacements de passage pour pi\u00e9tons au centre-ville de Montr\u00e9al incontr\u00f4l\u00e9s comparant les conditions de nuit aux conditions de jour en utilisant des mesures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de remplacement y compris la vitesse du v\u00e9hicule se approchant et post empi\u00e8tement temps (PET). Les r\u00e9sultats ont montr\u00e9 que la m\u00e9thodologie peut effectivement recueillir des donn\u00e9es sur les conflits de nuit. Avec l'introduction de la cam\u00e9ra thermique, cette \u00e9tude fournit une solution aux probl\u00e8mes de faible visibilit\u00e9 de nuit lorsque les utilisateurs de la route, notamment les pi\u00e9tons, sont \u00e0 des risques plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s.
