Steel, Darel Mesher, Jeremy Adamson<\/p>\n<h2>R\u00e9sum\u00e9:<\/h2>\n<p>Le processus d\u2019audit de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re (RSA) a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9e dans le monde comme \u00e9tant<br \/>\nun outil efficace, proactif et s\u00e9curitaire qui peut conduire \u00e0 \u201cdes routes plus s\u00fbres et des<br \/>\ncommunautes plus saines\u201d en identifiant les probl\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 avant que des collisions ne<br \/>\nse produisent. Les estimations du ratio co\u00fbt-b\u00e9n\u00e9fice indiquent que les avantages du processus<br \/>\nRSA sont beaucoup plus importants que leur co\u00fbt. Depuis leur premi\u00e8re mise en oeuvre il y a<br \/>\nplus de 20 ans, le model existant RSA a peu chang\u00e9, comptant sur des visites de sites et des<br \/>\nanalyses et recommendations d\u2019experts. L\u2019utilisation de syst\u00e8mes et techniques de gestion<br \/>\nd\u2019actifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 universellement adopt\u00e9es pour assister les organismes routiers dans la gestion<br \/>\nde leurs r\u00e9seaux routiers, n\u00e9cessitant de fa\u00e7on r\u00e9guli\u00e8re un inventaire d\u00e9taill\u00e9 des r\u00e9seaux<br \/>\nroutiers et des mises \u00e0 jour de l\u2019\u00e9tat du r\u00e9seau. Avec les avanc\u00e9es technologiques importantes<br \/>\ndes dernieres ann\u00e9es pour collecter des donn\u00e9es li\u00e9es \u00e0 la chauss\u00e9e, une quantit\u00e9 vari\u00e9e de<br \/>\ndonn\u00e9es caract\u00e9ristiques de la chauss\u00e9e peut maintenant \u00eatre collect\u00e9e et r\u00e9pertori\u00e9e selon un<br \/>\nprocessus automatis\u00e9, conjointement avec les activit\u00e9s conventionnelles de r\u00e9colte de donn\u00e9es<br \/>\ndu r\u00e9seau routier. Ce papier pr\u00e9sente le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une analyse automatis\u00e9e et<br \/>\ninnovatrice des distances de visibilit\u00e9 sur la route entrepris par Alberta Transportation, et le cas<br \/>\nd\u2019\u00e9tude de son application sur l\u2019autoroute 63 Fort McMurray Corridor.
