Renewing your Membership?

If you are a current CARSP member, or were a CARSP member in the past, you must be logged in to have your membership updated automatically.

Membership Fee Increase

Why have we decided to increase the fees?
  1. CARSP has not increased membership fees for 7 years.
  2. Feedback from members received in individual interviews conducted by CARSP revealed that the majority of those members interviewed would accept a fee increase provided the value they would receive, as a member, was also increased.
  3. During the last 1 ½ years CARSP, with time-limited funding from Transport Canada’s Enhanced Road Safety Transfer Payment Program, the following changes were made: Free Monthly Webinars, a “Road Safety Information” Area on the CARSP website, an updated Safety Network Newsletter, an updated website and, soon, an updated Advanced Vehicle Safety Systems web-area. We also conducted a needs assessment of our membership (via both a survey and interviews), which was key to offering the webinars.  This Transport Canada funding has now finished, yet we wish to continue providing these benefits to members.
  4. COVID has hindered our potential to earn operating revenue from our annual conferences.  The 2020 CARSP Conference was cancelled, and the 2021 and 2022 conferences yielded lower profits than in the past.
  5. Other associations similar to CARSP charge more for membership than CARSP does.
