Transport Canada’s Vehicle Cyber Security Conference

Transport Canada is pleased to announce its 5th annual Vehicle Cyber Security Conference, which will be hosted virtually on February 1st, 2024.

This year’s event will explore vehicle cyber security challenges in an environment that is increasingly connected, automated, shared, and electrified (CASE). The popular acronym CASE points to the opportunities for enhanced vehicle safety alongside emerging cyber security challenges. It suggests a future in which vehicles are increasingly automated and connected to their surroundings. This new era will be powered by shared mobility solutions as well as a collective responsibility to manage the safe and secure deployment of modern technologies, which is underscored by a strong commitment to the electrification and decarbonization of the road transportation sector.

Experts from across government, academia, and industry will present on topics ranging from artificial intelligence to electric vehicles and cyber security in the era of CASE. This is an opportunity to share unique insights and engage in meaningful discussion on cyber security in a rapidly evolving field.
