The 11th International Conference on Managing Fatigue will be held from 11 to 13 August 2026 at The University Club of Western Australia in Perth, Western Australia.
Since its inception in 1993, this flagship conference has brought together leading researchers, policy makers, and industry practitioners to share the latest science and best practices in fatigue management. While the conference has a strong focus on transportation, it also attracts participants from natural resources, mining, healthcare, and the military, which creates a rich, cross-sector exchange of ideas and solutions.
Hosted at the University of Western Australia, a member of the Group of Eight leading Australian research universities, the event will offer a world-class program in a relaxed and collaborative setting on UWA’s riverside campus near Perth’s central business district and King’s Park.
The 2026 conference will feature:
-
Invited presentations from internationally renowned experts in fatigue, sleep, human factors, and road safety.
-
Sessions that bridge research and practice across multiple sectors where fatigue is a critical safety and performance issue.
-
Opportunities to network with global leaders, practitioners, and researchers who are shaping fatigue risk management policy and practice.
If your work involves safety, transport operations, shift work, human factors, or occupational health, this conference is an excellent opportunity to stay up to date, share your experience, and build new collaborations.
