On behalf of Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure, it was our pleasure to sponsor and attend the 2024 CARSP Conference in Ottawa. Road safety is a significant priority in Manitoba as evidenced by the fact that it is one of three provinces and territories to have formally adopted Vision Zero. The timing of the conference was ideal as it coincided with Manitoba’s development of a new Road Safety Section.  Part of the work of this Section is to create a road safety action plan. The various presentations, tours, and networking opportunities offered at the conference supported this important work. Thank you to the organizers, presenters, and attendees who made the conference a hit!
