Road safety continues to be a priority for ITE International in 2025. With the release of the ITE Safety Roadmap and Action Plan (2025-2027), our parent organization has laid out a bold framework designed to drive measurable progress toward zero roadway fatalities. Three key implementation actions were recently highlighted: ITE’s Duty of Care and how professionals can embed safety into decision-making, the ITE Safety Pledge and its role in fostering a culture of accountability and commitment to achieving zero roadway fatalities, and Road Safety Audit Training as a critical tool for identifying and addressing roadway hazards. We invite you to learn more about the actionable strategies and find out how you can get involved in the development of resources and services for road safety professionals at ite.org/about-ite/safety-roadmap
