Hello Road Safety Community,
Are you passionate about road safety and eager to make an impact? CARSP is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our committees and help us drive important initiatives forward. This is a unique opportunity to connect with professionals from across Canada, contribute to meaningful projects, and support our shared vision for safer roads. Not a member, join now and then volunteer, and get $25 off your first yearly membership (i.e. cost is $100 instead of $125).

- Editorial Board – Safety Network Newsletter (SNN)
CARSP’s Safety Network Newsletter is an influential publication that reaches a wide audience of road safety professionals. Recent editions have explored themes like international road safety NGOs, innovations in cycling safety, enforcement strategies, and autonomous vehicle developments. Join us to help shape the content that informs and inspires the Canadian road safety community! Opportunities include:

- Contribute to a national quarterly publication reached by 500+ members.
- Choose the topics, source the articles and contribute to the newsletter’s design.
- Ensure that the publication provides relevant and cutting-edge content for road safety professionals.
- Open to all CARSP members. No experience necessary.
2. Young Professionals’ Committee (YPC)
The YPC connects young professionals and students, to those working in road safety fields, to support the growth of the next generation of experts. Learn more and join: YPC on CARSP or contact ypc_chair@carsp.ca. Key benefits and activities include:

3. Finance Committee
Help guide CARSP’s financial strategy! The Finance Committee is responsible for CARSP’s budgeting, financial planning, and oversight of the annual conference budget. If you have a knack for finance and want to help ensure CARSP’s books are financially sound, this is the role for you.
4. Membership & Marketing Committee (including social media support)
Join the Membership & Marketing (M&M) Committee to help increase CARSP’s profile, develop new marketing strategies, and create valuable resources for our members. This committee organizes webinars, workshops, and outreach efforts to grow and engage the CARSP community.
5. Structure & Governance (S&G) Committee
If you have an interest in governance, the Structure and Governance (S&G) Committee is for you. S&G works to strengthen CARSP’s policies and strategic plan. Join us in shaping the future of CARSP’s operations and ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.
