Abstract:

Roadside safety is an ongoing concern for road authorities. Many road authorities are seeking to better understand the condition of their roadside protection systems and identify potential roadside hazards. This paper presents the results of a guiderail and unprotected roadside hazard inventory and condition assessment conducted in a rural municipality in southwestern Ontario.
